This workout routine is made up of three exercises for three sets each. Make sure you can manage your weights safely. Take one to two minute rest periods between each set.
1) Heavy Club Double Swipe – 3 Sets of 15 Reps
The heavy club double swipe is a progression of the Heavy Club Swipe exercise. Be sure to go over the foundational moves that make up the swipe.
2) Pendulum Chest Press– 3 Sets of 15 Reps
The pendulum chest press is a progression of the Steel Club Clean exercise. Be sure to go over the foundational moves that make up the clean.
3) Heavy Club Svend Press– 3 Sets of reps until failure
The svend press is a progression of the Steel Club Clean exercise. Be sure to go over the foundational moves that make up the clean.
You want to grab the clubs where you feel they deliver the most stimulation, without causing pain or discomfort.
I personally get creative when performing this and I like to hold out the clubs in front of me a bit longer with the slightest bounce. That way I can feel where the tension is on my torso.
